Brick by brick the oven takes shape becoming a unique piece that will become the strength of a pizzeria or bakery in Italy or anywhere in the world. 2013 saw the creation of a new project: our rotary oven, perfect example of how tradition and innovation are able to merge into a single product, creating something unique.

It’s been more than 30 years during which the appreciation of our customers has been the fuel that has inspired our desire to move forward. We still have many ideas to be implemented with a single objective: To improve. Always!

The Cricchetto — traditional, Italian brick pizza oven was developped as the first Esposito Forni authentic oven that can bake pizza and bread using environmentally friendly fuels such as wood, gas and pellets while maintaining the typical taste of genuine Italian products.

The uniqueness of our oven is the result of a meticulous control of all building components. Particular attention is paid to the high quality refractory bricks. The ones that are used in our oven are special, compact, pressed dry and light-colored low porosity and high alumina content, perfectly suitable for cooking foods — especially pizza. Our Artisan brickwork is totally outstanding — you can say straight away how much attention we pay during the building process. Esposito Forni ovens are built with pure passion.

Cricchetto is a single piece oven — it arrives already built. Moving and installing it is easy for anyone even for those who are not professional . The Cricchetto external coatings are various, from simple plasterboard to mosaic, from steel to stone and many more — only your imagination is the limit. We can customise your oven with specific shape or design. This model is available as purely wood fred version — DEFRA APPROVED, Gas, or combination of both.

  1. INSULATION: cast of expanded clay and cement that Covers the dome with a thickness of about 15cm
  2. EXTERNAL METAL STRUCTURE: band in galvanized sheet metal non-corrosive of a thickness of 3 mm
  3. ARCH STRUCTURE: refractory bricks or capon with stainless steel
  4. OVEN’S MOUTH: 60 cm/ different measures On request
  5. EXHAUST FUMES: Ø 20 / 25cm
  6. ADD. INSULATION: ceramic fiber with aluminum
  7. THERMOMETER: MECHANICAL
  8. WORKTOP: built in bricks
  9. DOME: built in brick, resistant to temp. of 1200 ° C
  10. SUPPORT BASE: tubular iron with a square section of max size 80 x 80 mm, treated with anti-rust paint

CRICCHETTO GAS/WOOD
FIRED PIZZA OVENS

Chricchetto oven (version Gas / Dual fuel) with built in Millberg Spritfire gas burner is fantastic solution for busy restaurants / pizzerias. Spitfire burner is world’s best professional gas burner for pizza ovens — is extremely powerful and same time amazingly economical (please see consumption information by oven size). Spitfie burner guarantees oven best performance, permanent temperature control — fully automatic, cleanesness — no ash in the oven, no smoke emission.

Chricchetto oven version gas can also be used as dual fuel. There is no restriction on wood use. Simply place logs on opposite side of gas burner inside your oven and add extra effect to your cooking show.

Rotating floor system with supporting undertop spitfire gas burner makses Saetta the highest performance oven combined with easiness of operation. Esposito Forni ovens are built with pure passion.
