It is an automatic appliance requiring no attention from the operator during cooking: when the pasta is ready, it is discharged straight into the plate.
It is fitted with two independent baskets, each containing up to 500 g. of product, able to produce a large number of portions in very little time.
The appliance has a water tank connected to the cooking basin. When the water level in the well falls, the appliance takes in water from the tank to top it up. This allows the appliance to operate even without a mains water connection.
This major benefit means the pasta cooker can be placed anywhere in the premises.
However, the appliance is fitted for connection to a water tap if preferred.
To ensure excellent hygiene, the product is protected by a polycarbonate front hatch while cooking, and all parts of the appliance which come into contact with foods can be removed for washing and are dishwasher-proof.
The baskets are raised and lowered every 20 seconds to prevent the pasta from sticking, and the cooking time is programmed on the electronic keypad, with 4 different programs for each basket. The user just checks the time needed for the pasta to be cooked and presses a button …. Foolproof! Especially since businesses serving fast food generally use frozen precooked pasta, and the cooking time is virtually always the same: just 1 minute!
The PASTACHEF is available in three versions:
The PL6 model, featuring a handy sauce heater with two or three bowls.
The PL7 model, without sauce heater.
The PL8 model, without sauce heater and with water drain valve.
The sauce heater can also be purchased separately.
